Coronavirus death toll revised down to 328

The number of coronavirus deaths in the country has been revised down from 329 to 328, said the National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) in its latest update on Wednesday.

The THL said the overall number of deaths has been revised, because the cause of death in one particular case has been clarified.

Currently the number of coronavirus cases stand at 7296.A total 27 cases that had been reported twice have been removed from the register.Since yesterday, 21 cases have been reported to the register, 7 of which are new

A total of seven COVID-19 patients are now undergoing treatment at different hospitals, and currently there is no patient in any intensive care unit (ICU).

More than 6,800 patients, or 90% of the total number of infected people, have recovered from the disease.

Currently, laboratories in the country are testing about 13,000 samples a day.

So far, a total of 271 people had died in the Helsinki-Uusimaa Hospital District (HUS), 25 in the Pohjois-Savo Hospital District (KYS), 17 in the Turku Hospital District (TYKS), 12 in the Pohjois-Pohjanmaa Hospital District (OYS), and three in the Tampere-Pirkanmaa (TAYS) Hospital District.

According to the THL report, in relation to Finland’s total population (5,543,233), the prevalence of COVID-19 cases is 131 per 100,000 people
