The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) launched on Sunday its 4th "With Refugees" winter bazaar in Amman to support refugees across Jordan, reported Xinhua.

Around 60 refugee vendors will participate in the one-week bazaar by selling handmade products and artifacts, such as soaps, food, home decorations, accessories, and holiday gifts, the UNHCR said in a statement.

Dominik Bartsch, UNHCR Representative to Jordan, highlighted the importance of holding the event to generate income for refugees directly.

He said that the UNHCR organized the bazaar twice a year, noting that the bazaar has representatives from all the refugee camps in Jordan for the first time.

Home to over 750,000 refugees, most of whom are Syrians, Jordan is the world's second host country of refugees per capita.
