7 missing after ship sinks in Yellow Sea

Seven people are missing after a ship sank in seas off east China's Shandong Province, local authorities said Wednesday.

The ship registered in Henan Province with 11 on board sank at around 6 a.m. Tuesday in the north Yellow Sea, said city government of Weihai.

One helicopter, five rescue boats and 28 cargo ships are searching for the missing.

Four have been found but seven are still missing.

Rescue and investigation of the cause is ongoing.
