Strike at Helsinki Airport scheduled for Friday called off

The 24-hours strike announced by the aviation union (Ilmailualan Unioni- IAU) scheduled for Friday at Helsinki Airport has been called off, said a press release issued by Finavia on Wednesday.
Services for passengers requiring assistance will be available normally on Friday, said Finavia, the company operates country´s airports regretting for the inconvenience caused to the travel plans
Earlier, IAU called the strike at Helsinki Airport scheduled to be observed from June 15 at 5:00 am to June 16 at 5:00 am. The service for passengers requiring assistance feared to be disrupted during the stoppage.
The strike was called for a collective agreement dispute between IAU and the service provider, Lassila &Tikanoja.
