Niskanen places 2nd in 15km classic in Italy WC

Iivo Niskanen on Sunday placed second in 15km in Classic style at the World Cup in Cogne,Italy, posted the International Ski Federation.

Niskanen who posted 34:48.4 minutes finsihed behind Russian Alexander Bolshunov who won the race with a margin +43.7 seconds.

Alexander Bessmertnykh of Russia came third 12.2 seconds behind the Finn.

Earlier, Kerttu Niskanen,who is a sister to Iivo won the ladies 10km.
