Aho´s hattrick brings big victory for Lions against USA

Sebastian Aho´s hattrick helped Finland to beat strong USA by 6-2 in Ice Hockey World Champions 2018 in Denmark on Tuesday.

Mikko Rantanen, Marko Anttila and Kasperi Kapanen scored one goal each for Finland while Patrick Kane and Derek Ryan scored one goal each for the USA in the match completely dominated by the Lions.

With this match the Lions finished the preliminary round with five victories and two defeats.

Finland earlier beat South Korea, Latvia, Norway, Canada and USA with big margin of 8-1, 8-1, 7-0, 5-1 and 6-2 respectively while were defeated to Denmark and Germany by 2-3 and 2-3 margins.

The Lions will meet Switzerland in quarterfinal tomorrow.
