Jarl Magnus Riiber bagged his third straight victory in as many matches into the FIS Nordic Combined World Cup season as Norwegians achieved another podium sweep in Ruka, Finland on Sunday.

The season opener was a league of his own for Riiber, who also triumphed on Friday and Saturday, before finishing more than two minutes ahead of his nearest rival on Sunday.

He recorded 153.6 points by flying to 144 meters in the jumping part, which earned him an advantage of over one minute into the 10km cross-country skiing. He concluded the skiing part in 25 minutes and 36.6 seconds.

Finishing his jumping with a fourth-best 130.9 points, Riiber's compatriot Joergen Graabak made a strong comeback in skiing to climb to second, two minutes and 8.8 seconds behind Riiber.

Born in 2000, Jens Lurass Oftebro was just 0.1 second adrift of Graabak in third.

Norwegians also claimed the top three on Friday.

Austria's Franz-Josef Rehrl ranked fourth. He was followed by Einar Luraas Oftebro and Espen Bjoernstad, also from Norway.

Riiber sits atop the World Cup standings with a perfect 300 points from three matches.

Nordic Combined World Cup action will resume in Lillehammer, Norway next weekend.
