Tottenham outplay Serbia's Red Star 4-0 in UEFA Champions League

Serbia's Red Star (Crvena Zvezda) lost their third match 4-0 in the Group B of the UEFA Champions league to Tottenham here on Wednesday.

The English team gained dominance early on with a shot of Harry Kane that went wide, followed by another miss of Son Heung-min. Tottenham rarely let go of the ball possession in favor of the Serbian champion.

After home team lost possession in the midfield, Tottenham engaged in counterattack in the 34th minute. The ball went to Kane who struck the side-bar with the shot. Son picked up the ball and hit the top post, and after several deflected shots, finally Giovani Lo Celso shook the net for 1-0.

The second half was the one of hope, for more than 40,000 home fans at the Rajko Mitic stadium, but in the 57th minute Son used another counterattack to increase the lead, and just four minutes later, he shook the net once more for 3-0.

Last goal was scored in the 85th minute by Christian Eriksen who entered fifteen minutes earlier from the bench.

With 7 points, Tottenham, fourth ranked in last year's Premiere League Season are now second ranked in Group B of the Champions League behind Bayern Munich, while Red Star are third with 3 points, ahead of bottom-ranked Olympiacos with only 1 point.

On November 26, Red Star will welcome Bayern, while Totenham will host match against Olympiacos in the fifth round.
