Jail sentence for raping disabled girl in Tampere upheld

The court of appeal in Turku on Monday upheld the punishment awarded to a criminal for raping and abusing sexually a 14-year disabled girl.

Earlier, a district court sentenced the man to three years and nine months imprisonment for the heinous act, reported national broadcaster Yle.

The convict was also fined 34,000 euros.

The crime took place in Tampere between the end of 2017 and beginning of 2018.
