Helsinki pilots bike lockers at Vuosaari metro station

Lockable bike lockers are being trialled at the Vuosaari Metro Station until the end of October, said the City of Helsinki in a press release on Wednesday.

The lockers are free of charge to use but an HSL account and an HSL card will be needed to use the lockers.

Only one person will be able to use one locker at a time.

The bike lockers are designed for short-term bike storage in conjunction with a public transport journey. Bike could be stored in a bike locker for up to three days.
