Operations of United Brotherhood, Bad Union gangs banned temporarily

The Eastern Uusimaa District Court on Friday imposed temporary ban on the operations of United Brotherhood and its sub-organisation Bad Union.

The Police said that the activities of the gangs will be monitored and the court order will be implemented immediately, according to a press release issued by the National Police Board.

The law enforcing agency is preparing a letter stating how monitoring will be implemented in practice and will be distributed to police units once it is ready.

The aim is for the letter to be distributed not later than Monday. The letter is a public letter and will be published on the police website once it has been distributed to the police units.

Action to disband the organisations was brought by the special prosecutor at Eastern Uusimaa Prosecutor’s Office and the National Police Board on September 6 last year.
