2 killed in Seinäjoki road mishap

Two person were killed in a road accident in Seinäjoki early Sunday, said a police bulletin.

The accident took place around a quarter past midnight along Kivisaarentie road in Seinäjoki.

According to police preliminary investigation, the accident happened when a private car swerved off the road at a high speed and rammed into a tree.

The driver and a front-seat passenger died on the spot while another passenger seated in the back seat was slightly injured and taken to hospital.

The police are investigating, whether use of alcohol had a part to play in the accident.
