The Police University College is opening some police student courses to students from other higher education institutions in Tampere in the 2019 fall semester, said a press release.

Degree and exchange students at Tampere University and the Tampere University of Applied Sciences can now enrol in four Police University College courses included in optional courses in police studies.

“The courses are in English and they are part of the Police University College’s study module for Erasmus+ exchange students. The themes of the courses are Finnish policing, occupational culture of the police, leadership and management challenges and hate crime,” said Head of Education Lotta Parjanen.

Bilateral Erasmus student exchanges will start at the Police University College in the fall of 2019 when the first police students leave for the Erasmus exchange and the first Erasmus students from partner universities arrive at the Police University College campus in Hervanta.
