Turnover in industry grows in June

The working day adjusted turnover in industry grew by 9.3 per cent in June 2021 compared with June 2020, according to Statistics Finland.

The development was partly due to the exceptional situation caused by the coronavirus one year earlier.

Turnover, however, decreased compared with the previous month

According to the preliminary data, the seasonally adjusted turnover in industry decreased in June 2021 by 0.1 per cent compared to May.

In May, seasonally adjusted turnover grew by 0.7 per cent, while in April, turnover was 1.7 per cent higher than in the month before.
