A Finnish syndicate from Easter Finland won the ever biggest trans-national Eurojackpot lottery, reported National broadcaster Yle.

The syndicate from North Savo won the 92 million euro jackpot that constitutes the biggest ever lottery win in Finland, said the Yle report quoting the state gambling monopoly Veikkaus.

The winning ticket was bought by a 50-strong syndicate from K-Supermarket in Siilinjärvi, reported Finnish language evening tabloid Iltalehti.

“The win went to a good group,” said the Iltalehti report, quoting the store manager, Jyrki Huttunen, adding,” there has been a general syndicate in this shop, and there are 50 happy people.”

This was the sixteenth time the Eurojackpot winning ticket was bought in Finland.
