Building costs up by 0.4% in July

Building costs rose by 0.4 per cent in July 2019 compared to the previous year's July, according to Statistics Finland.

The prices of labour inputs increased by 0.8 per cent. The prices of materials and services went up by 0.2 per cent compared to the cost of July 2018.

From June to July, the total index of building costs rose by 0.1 per cent.

The prices of materials went up by 0.2 per cent and the prices of services decreased as much, by 0.2 per cent.

In July, the costs of labour inputs remained on level with June.
