Rents ascend most in greater Helsinki, Turku in Q2

Among the large cities, rents of non-subsidised rental dwellings increased most in the greater Helsinki area and Turku year on year in the second quarter of 2019, according to the Statistics Finland.

In large cities, rents of non-subsidised rental dwellings have increased most in Vantaa, Kuopio and Turku compared to that in 2015.

In Greater Helsinki, rents have risen by 6.0 per cent and in the rest of the country by 5.0 per cent.

Compared to the level of 2015, rents have risen almost everywhere, but the annual increase in rents has slowed down in recent years across the country.
